Exploring Medieval Castles
Lise Hull teaches an online course called "Exploring Medieval Castles". This six-week course takes participants on a trip to many of Britain’s greatest and most significant medieval castles. Students will trace the development of castles and their role in medieval society, their impact on the landscape, and also the role they have in the heritage of modern Britain. Participants will then explore castle developments in Continental Europe and the Holy Land.
